In the age of Instagram Stories and TikTok, long-form motion design has had to adapt to shorter, more bite-size methods of storytelling.
This project channels the momentum of this trend in digital media into a motion piece for a single song, similar to the motion pieces seen on Spotify. I chose to focus on the song Any Way the Wind Blows from the musical Hadestown. I created a short motion piece for the song, designed packaging alluding to an LP album packing that could house a phone as the song played, and created a digital booklet similar to the concept of Liner Notes.
